- How many credits do I get for an EDGE course?
All EDGE courses are worth 2 credits
- Are EDGE courses required?
Shibusawa Scholar Program students must take EDGE courses, but for other students, all EDGE courses are elective.
- Some courses have 1, 2, 3, or 4 in the title; do I have to take all of these courses or can I start at 2 or 3 or 4?
You do not need to take all of the courses. You can start at 2 or 3 or 4. We encourage you to take as many parts of the course as you can, but you can begin at any number.
- What kind of credit are EDGE courses?
EDGE courses are 学部基礎科目. We recommend that you contact Kyoumu-ka if you have any questions regarding matters of credit.
- Is there a limit to how many EDGE courses I can take?
There is no limit for EDGE courses. We recommend the following system:

job hunting only: Take 1 or 2 courses per quarter
for you future job (business trips etc.): Take 2 or 3 courses per quarter
for your future job/life (everyday or very often): Take 3+ courses per quarter
If you need English for
